ANDREW J. BARBER

Andrew J. Barber, 76, of Raymore, MO passed away August 22, 2016 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Funeral services will be 11 AM Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at Manna Fellowship Church 17235 Bel-Ray Pl, Belton, MO 64012 with visitation 10-11 AM. Burial will be in Wills Cemetery, Peculiar, MO. Memorial contributions may be made to Manna Fellowship Church.

Andrew was born February 28, 1940 in Viola, Arkansas, the son of John and Jessie (Clement) Barber. Andrew was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Euna Barber, Marie Tackitt, Fannie Painter, Helen White and Essie Mabes; and brother, Loyd Barber.

He is survived by his loving wife Sharon Barber of 19 years; two sons, Brett D. Barber (Julie) and Brent M. Barber; daughter, Samantha Terry; three brothers, JD Barber (Louise), Duane Barber (Sue) and Author Barber (Jane); two sisters, Patty Cambron and Wanda Cotter (Harold); six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Andrew was a local builder and developer for many years. He was the first president of the Cass County Home Builders Association. He was a member of the Manna Fellowship Church in Belton.
