ALMA M. BLACKKETTER

Alma M. Blackketter, age 75, of Belton, Missouri passed away on April 9, 2017 at her home, surrounded by the love of her family. Memorial service will begin at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, April 13, with Visitation from 5:00-6:00 p.m., at Cullen Funeral Home, Raymore, Missouri.

Alma was born February 28, 1942 in White Hall, Illinois. She was the daughter of Noel "Chick" Fraley and Henrietta Phylliss (Dugger) Fraley. Alma worked as a sales associate in hardware and paint at Wal-Mart and retired with over 25 years of service.
Alma was a people person and also very outgoing. She was a member of the Red Hat Society for 14 years, and she also formed her own group known as "The Prayer Group" which involved making many memories with some of her closest friends.

Alma was preceded in death by her parents, Chick and Henrietta Fraley; her significant other, Lawrence Day; brother, Noel L. Fraley; and sister, Laura Mann.

She is survived by her children, Derek Blackketter (Susan); and Phylliss Justine Bosch (Eric), four grandchildren, Amber Stone (Randy), Darcie Clutter, Jessica Johnson (Roy), and Andrew Bosch; eight great-grandchildren, Corey, Madison, Landon, Gunner, Amelia, Randi, Jasmin, and Maranda; and one sister, Sara Bess (John).
