ALICE FAYE METHENY

Alice Faye Metheny, 88, of Lake Winnebago, Missouri, formerly of Raymore, Missouri, passed away November 17, 2017.

Alice was born December 20, 1928, on the family farm in Freeman, Missouri. She was the daughter of Chester and Vernie (Phillips) Myers.

Alice attended one term at Central Missouri State Teachers College and taught for one year at the Dodder Point School House near Freeman, MO. She married Glenn Olen Metheny and became a mother, a dairy farmer, and homemaker.

Alice was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 65 years, Glenn Olen Metheny; and one brother, Glenn Myers.

She is survived by her sister, Anna Lee Davenport, her children, Glenn Metheny and wife, Georgann; Verna "Joyce" McCambridge and husband, Jack; 4 grandchildren, Kelly Alice Parker (Jonathan), Sean McCambridge (Tara), Adam Metheny (Alyssa), Carolyn Hotchkiss (David); 7 great-grandchildren, Maddie, Lucy, Owen, Anna, Holden, Miles, and Cadence Faye.

A private family visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 21, 2017, at Cullen Funeral Home, Raymore, MO. A private burial will take place at Raymore Cemetery.
