ALICE B. LINDAHL
Alice B. Lindahl, age 85, of Raymore, Missouri, passed away, January 25, 2017 surrounded by the love of her family, at Shawnee Mission Medical Center, in Kansas.
Funeral services begin at 10:00 a.m., with visitation from 9:00 -10:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 31, at the Lord of Love Lutheran Church, 8306 171st Street, Belton, Missouri, 64012. A Graveside service will begin at 3:00 p.m. later that day in Union Cemetery, Osage City, Kansas.
Alice was born May 13, 1931 in Kansas City, Missouri. She was the daughter of Arthur and Edla Carlson. Alice was united in marriage to Troy Bowlin from 1951 until his death in 1993. On December 17, 1994 Alice was married to E. Leroy Lindahl, and together they enjoyed 22 wonderful years of marriage.
Aside from lovingly serving her family as a homemaker, Alice was also an executive assistant at Menorah Medical Center. She loved her church family as well and was the choir director at the Lord of Love Lutheran Church of Belton, Missouri.
Alice was preceded in death by her parents and her first husband, Troy Bowlin (1993).
She is survived by her husband, E. Leroy Lindahl; her children by her first marriage: Daniel Bowlin (Susan), Debbi Homola (Michael), and Kevin Bowlin (Sally), and by Leroy's children: Roger Lindahl (Beth) and Lee Lindahl (Joseph Chiancone); brothers, David Carlson (Janice), and Jonathan Carlson; sister, Carla Sheldon (Dave); 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
