Alice "Sue" Headley, of Belton, MO passed May 28, 2010. Services will be 2pm Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at Cullen Funeral Home with visitation 1-2pm.

Sue was born October 11, 1939 in Bernice Oklahoma to Elmer and Alice Ellsworth. She met her sweetheart & soul mate Richard Headley at Grandview High School and they married on August 15, 1955. Their marriage lasted 54 years and 9 months and continues to be the anchor for our family. Sue was Retail Manager for the Tradex Stores for many years.

Sue & Richard were blessed with 5 daughters who brought sue great joy not only as daughters but as friends. They made their home 1970 in Belton, MO. She enjoyed her home, her flowers and plants and especially her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents. She leaves behind her husband, Richard Headley of the home, three sisters, Helen and Fred Bortz of Belton, MO, Alma Lee Todd, Mary Ruth and Glen McCumber of Miami, OK; one brother, Alonzo Ray and Jackie Ellsworth of Surprise, AZ; five daughters, Connie and Randy Shepard, Deanna and George Weddle, Vickie and Scott Johnson of Belton, MO, Cathie and Darrell Lancaster of Cleveland, MO, Debbie and Ken Kincaide of Raymore, MO; 12 grandchildren; Don, Matt, Kiley, Richard, Nicole, Natalie, Candi, Brian, Ashley, Allison, George and Tiffany; 13 great grandchildren and 2 more arriving in July.

Mom you were the heart and soul of our family. Thank you for always being there. Watch over us all.
