ALICE DENISE ENGLISH

Alice Denise English, age 70, of Peculiar, Missouri, passed away peacefully in her home, surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, March 21, 2021.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 W. Foxwood Dr. Raymore, Missouri 64083. A funeral will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home and then Denise will be laid to rest at Wills Cemetery in Peculiar, Missouri.

Denise was born in Kansas City, Missouri on July 17, 1950 to Dean Day and Maxine (Witt) Day. After high school Denise was joined in marriage with her husband Larry English on April 1, 1967. From this marriage they were blessed with five children, later grandchildren and great grandchildren. Aside from the full time work of motherhood, Denise was a store manager for Dollar General towards the end of her working career. In life she loved crafts and was involved with all of her children's many activities. During the holidays, Denise enjoyed being festive and decorating their home.

Denise was preceded in death by her parents, Dean and Maxine Day; and sister, Dixie Hardison.

She leaves behind her loving husband of over fifty-three years, Larry English; son, Larry English (Kim); four daughters, Renee Biondo (Nick), Kim Fager (Dan), Danielle Welch (Rob), and Jodi VanBrunt (Derek); sister, Sharon Stoneking; seventeen grandchildren; and twenty-one great grandchildren.
