ALBERT H. CHAMP
Albert H. Champ, 79, of Raymore, MO passed away February 17, 2015. Funeral service will be 10 AM Monday, February 23, 2015 at Cullen Funeral Home with visitation 5-7 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Belton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society 1100 Pennsylvania Avenue, Kansas City, MO 64105 or ALS Association 6950 Squibb Road, Ste. 210 Mission, KS 66202. Albert was born November 18, 1935, in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Albert M. and Ruth M. Reberry Champ. Albert was preceded in death by his parents; two wives, Marjorie L. Champ and Claudine Champ; brother, Robert E. Champ; and grandson, Jake Champ. He is survived by his three sons, Kevin L. Champ and his wife, Teresa, Albert H. Champ II and Michael P. Champ and his wife, Linda; one daughter, Cathi Brown; sister, Judi Lynch and her husband Larry; six grandchildren, Cliff, Kenny, Kyle, Kevin, Sarah and Chris; four great grandsons, Gunner, Gibson, Cael and Cain. Albert was a member of the Saved by Grace Fellowship Church, NECA and IBEW Local Union #124. He was a Marine Corps Veteran, serving during the Korean War and a former City Councilman from Ward 4 in Raymore, MO 2002-2004.
