Alan Michael Lawing
A much-loved father, son, brother and friend, Alan Michael Lawing, 23, of Raymore, Missouri, went to be with his Lord and Savior on November 14, 2012. He was born October 11, 1989 in Kansas City, Missouri, and resided in Raymore, Missouri. He graduated from The University of Missouri-Columbia high school in 2008 and went on to pursue his dream of working in the family business. Alan was a marketing assistant at Lawing Financial Group, Inc. He is remembered for his strength, one-of-a-kind charm and fun-loving spirit.
He is survived by his parents, Kerry and Teri (Chafin) Lawing; grandparents, Gary and Jean Lawing and Paul Chafin; daughter, Brylee Lawing; brothers, Jordan Gallant, Bradley Lawing and wife Lindsay; sister, Kristan Gutierrez and husband David; niece, Adalyn Gutierrez and many loved ones. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Carol Chafin.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 19, 2012, at The United Church of the Resurrection, Leawood, Kansas. A celebration of life reception will be held immediately following the service. A private family burial is planned for Monday evening.
