DAVID MICHAEL RIEKEN

David Michael Rieken, age 56, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at Williamson Medical Center.

A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 26, 2021 at Cullen Funeral Home, 612 W. Foxwood Dr. Raymore, Missouri 64083. Following visitation, a memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m.

David was born in Kearney, Nebraska on January 25, 1965 to William Henry Rieken Jr. and Mary Rozellen (Giddings) Mickelson. For many years, David owned and operated his own construction business. He retired and lived out his passion of flying different aircrafts. David had many different classifications as a pilot, allowing him to fly many types of aircrafts. Over the years he owned many different planes.

David was preceded in death by his father William Henry Rieken.

He is survived by his mother, Mary Rozellen Mickelson; two daughters, Marielle Suddarth and Kate Kirkpatrick; three brothers, Alan Rieken (Margaret), James Rieken, and William Rieken (Mari), two grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Community of Christ Church, 1007 Timber St., Pleasant Hill, Missouri 64080.
